In September, the French investigation team found traces of TNT (trinitrotoluene) in the aeroplane’s debris. In a statement on behalf of the investigating committee, the ministry said it has now referred the new findings, which give more weight to the theory that explosives were intentionally detonated onboard the aircraft, to the General Prosecution, which will investigate the possible criminal act behind the crash. last_img
