POLICE LOG for April 3 Driver Arrested Transformer Fire Crash On OnRamp

first_imgWILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, April 3, 2019:Police notified Public Buildings Department that the three “don’t walk” signals weren’t illuminating on three of the corners at Shawsheen Avenue and Lake Street. (8:27am)A Salem Street resident reported a vehicle drove across his driveway and lawn. Resident vehicle was now parked at the Health Center across the street. Police advised driver to use caution. Resident declined any further action. (10:41am)Anthony Baio, Jr. (54, East Bridgewater) was arrested for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License. Baio was pulled over on Woburn Street. (1:29pm)Police notified Mass Highway of a large pothole forming on Main Street. (4:35pm)A 3-vehicle crash took place on the 93 North Exit 38 on-ramp. One driver complained of back and neck pain and was transported by the Fire Department. (4:45pm)A walk-in party reported malicious damage done to their vehicle. (7:32pm)Police responded to reports in a fire in a driveway on Woburn Street. A transformer and generator were on fire. Street temporarily shut down. RMLD notified. Fire Department put out small fires. (11:16pm)Fire Department responded to live wires on the ground on Fay Street. RMLD and DPW also notified.
