How are you doing? It is great having you. Can we know you better?Nah: I’m doing great. Thank God for life. I am a Liberian, with Kru and Grebo ancestry, and was trained by the Catholics through primary and secondary school. My formative years were advantageously rough and strict, and it inspired me to be creative.LIB Life: What exactly inspired you to start doing music?Nah: Singing and songwriting had always been outlets for me to vent out my challenges. God is my inspiration. Even though I can do secular music, my attention right now is to do gospel music. I decided to switch to inspirational music because I want to use my creativity to induce attitudinal change in as many people as I can inspire through my music.Lastly, there was a very long pause in my attempt at music until I decided to go inspirational through my own sponsorship.LIB Life: What has been the biggest highlight of your career?Nah: My highlight is like the horizon and will forever recede. I don’t think I can achieve a highlight because I feel there is always another step, an insatiable quest.LIB Life: How has your life changed since you began your musical journey?Nah: The change is spiritual and inexplicable but I expect a career boost once I meet the necessary partners to monetize my products. I think success comes with hard work, creativity and God’s grace.LIB Life: For the young generation inspired by your successes, what advice would you offer to those pursuing a career in the industry?Nah: Of all the advice that I can proffer to the younger ones, I would like to encourage them to pursue sound education. It is one’s ability to write that would enhance their lyrical quality. Self-discipline cannot be overemphasized as well.Share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)last_img read more
