Former Clemson linebacker Stephone Anthony is heading back to the team that drafted him.Anthony has bounced around the league this year, making stops with the Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Falcons and New York Jets.He’ll try to make the most of his opportunity in New Orleans. At the very least, the former All-ACC performer should feel comfortable in their defensive scheme.According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, the Saints are bringing back Anthony for a second stint. The former Clemson star had 112 tackles, two forced fumbles and an interception.Last weekend, the Saints lost linebacker Kaden Elliss to a potential season-ending knee injury. He served as a key contributor on special teams.Injuries have really hindered New Orleans’ depth at linebacker. Not only did Elliss suffer a major injury, but Alex Anzalone is out for the season after undergoing shoulder surgery.Perhaps, Anthony can revitalize his career with the Saints.last_img read more
